Sydney first became interested in real estate several years ago after purchasing her first home and has continued to be interested in investment opportunities and financial education since. She is excited to bring her passion and experience to the Rent to Retirement team.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University.

Shawn is an active investor, with a current portfolio of 6 properties producing more than $500k a year in passive income. He and his team analyze more than 50 properties in various markets across the US and around the world each month. Tanisha, J.D. is an author, patent holder, professional speaker, wealth and passive income coach and entrepreneur. Chris Prefontaine is a 3-time best-selling author. He has been in real estate for over 30 years and his experience ranges from constructing new homes in the 1900s, to owning a realty executive fanchise, and coaching clients throughout the US.

After the 2008 crash, Chris reengineered his entire business to weather all storms and economic cycles. Understanding these challenges, he helps investors navigate the constantly changing real estate climate.

Dave Dubeau is a real estate entrepreneur, author and podcast host. He works with new capital raisers and helps them attract investors and their money without being desperate or high-pressure. He began his real estate investing career in 2003 doing 18 deals in 18 months and nowadays he invests passively in multi-family properties.

When it comes to working with investors, Dave has seen a lot personally as well as through his work with other real estate entrepreneurs. He’s been on both sides of the good, the bad and the ugly of working with investors and their capital.

Chris is a chartered financial & investment advisor with a background in life insurance. Chris is an expert in the insurance industry assisting clients in having the most appropriate life & disability insurance policies in place to protect their hard earned wealth & families financial security! He educates clients on how to use life insurance policies as an investment for long term market fluctuation protection, tax shelter & options to leverage their policy to invest in real estate!

Although a non-traditional route to finance, Chris’ investment career started with buying Trimble Navigation stock with paper route money at age 14. Since that time Chris has been through the dot-com and housing bubbles, managed millions of dollars, 401k plans, crypto currencies, and acquired, invested in, and managed millions of dollars of real estate investments ranging from multi-family to adult family homes. Erica Muller has 21 years of experience in the world of investment properties. She became a licensed real estate agent at 18 years old in the state of FL and within a year of that began working on complex commercial transactions and working with strictly an investor clientele.

She began building complex real estate proforma models to power her client’s investment decisions that have been used by thousands of real estate agents and investors to date. During the 2008-2012 real estate collapse she started a boutique short-term rental (STR) investment company in Kissimmee, FL. She went on to sell over $60M in STR sales volume to investors from all over the world before vacation rentals were a mainstream investment.

In 2018, she stepped away from real estate sales to become a technology founder with the goal of streamlining and automating STR. In 2021 she entered into a data science program to become a data scientist and remains a student with "on the job" training every day in her company.

Ramez is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience providing service in various settings. They include: the hospitality industry, financial services, and real estate. As Vice President of the IRA Club, his mission, to open doors and opportunities by educating, inspiring, and allowing our investors to diversify outside of the norm.

Dave is a real estate investor and qualified 1031 Exchange Intermediary who believes that real estate is an investment in the future. Dave’s 20+ years of experience working in all phases of real estate investing—from large scale development to single family homes and vacation rentals—have given him a keen eye for opportunity and a clear vision for reducing the impact of taxes. Dave is inspired by a genuine desire to help those around him succeed and continuously strives to create win-win situations.

He has taught numerous certified continuing education courses on investment tax strategies. His particular focus on basic and advanced 1031 exchange topics has made him a popular guest speaker for local Realtor associations, investment clubs, and podcasts. He teaches agents, investors, and advisors alike the ins and outs of 1031 exchanges and other tax and investment options.

Bill is an insurance agent currently licensed in 8 states. He grew up in Mississippi and graduated from the University of Mississippi, where he obtained a degree in Insurance and Risk Management. His passion for insurance is to provide the best quality protection for anyone that has invested in real estate. In 2009, he set the record for most policies written in one year, but believes that no matter how many policies he writes, quality is of the utmost importance.

He currently resides in Memphis, TN where he has received the honor of Tennessee Agent of the Year. Investment Properties are his #1 written policy and his goal is to assist real estate investors to protect their valuable assets in the best way possible.

Steve Trussell has a keen sense of clients’ needs and a passion to stand by their side and assist them until they are satisfied. He has a unique perspective with helping clients. This comes with his years in the real estate and cost segregation industries, understanding of real estate tax advantages, and leadership roles. Steve builds trusted client relationships by advising valued clients on how to accelerate depreciation, in order to take full advantage of tax savings.

During a Cost Segregation Study, Steve works with the team of engineers, clients, and their tax advisors to ensure that all the information included in the cost segregation report is accurate. Mr. Trussell also serves as a bridge between the engineers and clients, ensuring every project is handled with seamless efficiency.
